The Introduce Yourself Forum was never created to give out..
really specific content of a person.
It was created to share with others a bit more
(only if one chose to do so)
of what they might be going thru,
or why they might be doing x cleanse etc...
with a few in betweens hobbies, maybe foods they like,
little things that lend a more expansion
of who they are in general.
Folks use *made up names here anyhow*
and have anon #'s.
All of the reasons cited in the posts above
make very good common sense.
If you are not giving out real personal name,
and address, then there really is no need to worry.
It should perhaps be posted somewhere very well seen,
to NOT give out such private things.
But to say hey, I like quilting,
and riding go karts, etc,
is a nice addition to know,
if one is so inclined to say that.
I do Believe that some of the men
that declined the *Interviews*
did so because they did not want to share
more about their personal lives publically,
altho I may be wrong.
Radio personalities often have an *on the air* name,
separate from their personal names,
while others prefer to use their real names.
At any rate, the Forum was created
quite a while back at the request of others,
and was used by some. (others chose not to)
The same can be said of BLOGS:
wherein a person often shares personal stuff
they are going thru without revealing private personal info.
It was never intended to be a
*here are my credentials* forum lol!
Anyone can say anything they want
about themselves on internet,
as far as *credentials are concerned anyhow.
How are you supposed to know they are telling the truth?
So that blows that theory right out the window!
Anyone can post any picture they want,
doesn't mean it is really them.
The fact is, Curezone is a worldwide website.
The *few regulars* that post here
are but the tip of the iceberg,
vs the number of *readers*.
So many folks are probably doing alot of stuff
that they learned about here,
but never posting.
To each his/her own.
Listen to others,
but always do follow up research of your own.
Read old posts, even archives..
get the suggested books,
Make a common sense plan.
Just cause hookie booka-long says
they have done 3 30 day long fasts,
doesn't mean they really did,
or that they did not endanger themselves,
(for all you know, they might have
eating disorder issues lol!)
More importantly ..
YOU may have health issues that might
make such things a very bad decision for yourself!
Use your common knowledge about such things.
I NEVER did any of the cleanses
til I completely understood the ones I did do,
WHY I felt I needed to,
and were there other natural alternatives
that might suit ME better,
yet accomplish same goal..
I also took into account
some of the things I might encounter
with the cleanses I chose to pursue.
I set a predesignated plan of action for each one,
allowing time between each
to rest and be able to assess
the outcome better afterwards.
I even kept a small journal of each,
and made adaptations in some areas
to remind myself of problems I felt
could be altered with alterantives applied,
or lowered or increased dosages to suit my body.
When it all comes down to it,
YOU are responsible for what you
choose to do here.
Choose wisely.
Listen to your intuition,
and more importantly your own body!
Love,
Ami Joi Benton
