Madeleen Herreshoff, Director of

has
given me permission to reprint her story.
Madeleen is a knowlegeable and respected, two-time
breast cancer survivor who underwent a mastectomy many
years ago and lives an exemplary, organic life. When
we started the
Iodine Investigation Project two years ago,
Mad enrolled and decided to take only
Atomidine along with 12.5 mg (1 tablet) of Iodoral.
Recently, she had a mammogram which revealed a new cyst in
her remaining breast. Of course, she was afraid this
could turn into a recurrence.
As we know from the research,
Breast Cancer is a kind
of degenerative disease: cysts can turn into benign
tumors which can progress to full-blown invasive
cancers. Adequate
Iodine supplementation has stopped
the progression of these events.
So when a
Breast Cancer survivor gets a new cyst,
there is cause for concern: the underlying cause of
the breast disease is not being adequately addressed.
When I spoke to Mad, it seemed clear that the kind or
amount of
Iodine she was taking was not enough to keep
a potential new cancer from starting its baby steps
with a cyst.
We discussed her options and the progress of other the
Iodine Project patients.
A researcher named Funahashi had used progesterone to
get more iodine into tumor cells. (In fact, he found
iodine in dead tumors).
EXPERIMENT: She decided to raise her Iodoral from 12.5
to 50-70 mg plus rub progesterone on the breast along
with some
Lugol's iodine. Her therapy would be an
Iodine-Progesterone One-Two punch.
RESULTS: The cyst disappeared in one week.
From Madeleen in her words, posted on our discussion group:
<
mammogram that detected a small cyst. I had not felt
it before, but once I knew where it was I could locate
it easily with my fingers.
Lynne suggested I up my iodine to 50-75mg/day and add
a little progesterone on the breast. I used
50mg/Iodoral for one week plus painted my breast with
Lugol in the evening and a small amount of
progesterone (I use olive oil-based Progesterone) in the
AM.
Voila, it took one week for the cyst to disappear! I
am continuing with the regimen for a while to make
sure it stays away. Powerful stuff.
Oh how I would like to tell that radiologist how I
made it disappear. I can see his face of disbelief
already. LOL
