I have read from many that EC is not. However, I have reason to believe it is. My reason being, I just noticed that my girlfriend, my son, and the mother of my son have EC-like symptoms. My girlfriend has always used lip gloss so I never noticed, but now I see that her symptoms are like mine, but mine are a little worse. The mother of my son has bottom upper lip affected, but it is not red. Its just like, chapped kind of, but the rest of the bottom of the lip is normal, so it's not just chapped lips. It looks like some kind of EC, and she is black so that may be why it is not red. My son has the same situation with his lower lip, and his upper middle there is a callus like something on it. Everyone says its from the baby bottle. I haven't really thought about this before, and everyone's talking about how this is so rare and not contagious. Well I got this 3 days after I hooked up with my girlfriend kirsten. Hmm. Any similiar stories or ideas?
