JJI, just to clarify, I have generally not experienced much (operative word - much) in the way of ANY effects from workig with Orgone. To me, "side effect" is largely a misnomer that's been entrenched into the public consciousness, in large part thanks to the corporate drugs industry. There have been some subtle observations I have made throughout, so do not think that I have experience 0 - zero, effects. It seems I have not experienced as many effects as what other Orgonauts regularly claim. Among the questions this leaves me with is - why me? :)
Just recently I observed a can't-miss phenom. It's known as the "freezer ice cube demonstration". I have tried this test many times in the past, and while I observed some mild effects, I never got the same dramatic effects many others have reported. However, just this past Monday, I made a batch of ice cubes for the first time in many months. I had even forgotten there is a TB-sized pyramid in the freezer. When I pulled the tray out the next morning, I found the tell-tale indication of "something" having occured, in rather dramatic fashion...... so I got that going for me :)
As far as I'm concerned, yes, I do have at least one significant problem with EMF, but, it's the kind of problem that is not all that easy to corroborate. The problem: I spent over 25 years working in and around various types of computer & computer networking equipment and facilities of various types that utilized all sorts of hard-wired and wireless communications (IE> frequency) systems. The point being that I was undoubtedly exposed to a wide range of RF for an extended period. One of the more hideous aspects of RF of any frequency is that RF energy generally cannot be seen by people using only the unaided eye. People generally tend to think that if they cannot see something, it's not a problem to worry about. However, since I first stumbled onto Orgone over 3 years ago, I have observed that there are various people who claim they can sense energy of various types, including frequency-based / RF energy. The way some people describe what they sense, its' almost like seeing the heat waves come off a hot, wet road surface. Other people claim that they actually see vortices moving around and or nearby various sources of energy (radio towers, oceans and other bodies of water, factories, etc).
Now to me, since I do not presently have such senses / skills, it would be easy for me to scoff at such claims; for obvious reasons, I do not scoff at such claims. I don't blindlyl believe them, nor do I blindly dis-believe them, I'm sort of in the middle, with a mind open enough to consider more / new information that may come my way and perhaps allow me to revise my position and maybe....operative word - maybe, move closer to being a firm believer or dis-believer.
As to my perceived / assumed problem, my hunch is that the more one is exposed to RF, the more insensitive one may be to their general effects. This is somehwat of a general principal - de-sensitizing. Here is another for instance. My dog got skunked a few nights ago. This is the first such skunk incident I've ever had to deal with.... but I'm learning some new things fast :) One of the things I'm learning is, when one is so close to skunk stink, even when one did not themselves get sprayed, one quickly becomes sensitized to the odor.... hard to believe, but true. Aside from my years in a computer career, by today's standards, most people world wide are living and walking amid a constant flood of RF signals; they are everywhere. Again, because people generally cannot see them, and because the average person seems to also be unable to "sense/feel" such energy, it is easy for people in general to be ignorrant / unaware of the cumulative effects, whatever they may be. Since we can't see/sense such energy, this makes it easy for the "scientific experts" and the governments that hire them to steamroll over us in deeming "generally speaking, there are no hazardous effects from the sea of RF signals that surround each and every person in this world"
In comparison to the problem you describe, I am not aware that I have had any kind of problems that have manifested in a clearly observable symptom like bleeding. If you can afford an HP, I would suggest you try one. This is sort of a fundamental to learning about Orgone; carefully take advice from others BUT do your own research. This way you can go by what you have seen/felt/heard/noticed with your own senses.
BTW, while I heard about Tachyon some time back, I have not dabbled in them at all, and while I have seen a variety of postive claims about them, I've also seen some rather disturbing claims as well. What does this mean? I dunno, but try to do your own research if you really want to have a chance of knowing for sure.
Good luck.
