I don't understand why people go to Morales. He might charge you less but you have to pay for transportation, lodging, take time off work, etc etc etc... not to mention how much more money it costs to fix his botched dental work.

Morales doesn't have to do good work because he is protected from his patients. How can you fight a dentist who is in another country, is thousands of miles away, conveniently doesn't speak your language, and uses procedures centered around fly-in-fly-out one time procedures for patients he knows won't be returning for follow up work or visits? Morales can't offer lengthy procedures, even if that's what you need. Can you get quality work from a one-trip operation? People like to gamble I guess.

I guess we shouldn't expect filet mignon from a drive through. I'm no fan of dentists in the US, but at least they are held to certain legal and procedural standards, and with a local dentist you can go back as needed to fix things or complain.

Will Mexican authorities help you resolve a complaint? Maybe if you have enough money to bribe them... then what's the point?

Can you guys complain to the dental association about your experiences? why not write a letter of everything that occured giving your details and name and send a copy to the American dental association, the Mexican dental association and whoever else that you think will take note. Make sure they all know that you have sent a copy to the others. If nobody does anything, then people like this will never be taken down. The more people who do this the more they will take notice and maybe something will be done. Even if nothing comes of it id do it anyway.

I am also very sorry I went to Morales (moral-less). he drained my savings removing all my mercury and now I'm having to re-do most of the shoddy work and it's put me in a financial bind.

There are other good dentists In Tijuana. If anyone is low on cash and wants to get their mercury removed I would say to do it there. Dr. Lagos is good and there are other reputable and honorable dentists there that can take care of it for you.
