probiotics- acidophilus

I've been reading that the new generation of probiotics are encapsulated or enteric coated which means they're protected as they go through the small intestines, otherwise the good bacteria gets killed off by the stomach acid.
I've ordered some online and am waiting for them to arrive; when I've tried them I'll make a post so watch this space!

Yes, it does. Soem have stated that the FOS supplies nutrients to the other flora in the pill so they remain alive. Anyway, that is the reasoning behind using FOS. I used to avoid it too, but I have found it does not hurt me.
