Hello. My real name is unimportant. Where I live is Defiance, Ohio. In 1987, I had a close encounter with an E.T.. Many people have called me crazy for this, or implied that I may have something wrong with me or was maybe dreaming, but I know that it really happened.

I have forgotten the exact date, but I know that the year was 1987. I believe I was 12 years old. One morning I was asleep in my bed when I suddenly had the feeling that someone or something was in my room, watching me. You know the feeling, I mean, I'm sure. I opened my eyes without moving, and there it was right next to my bed. There was some sort of portal/rift in space there, and within that, there was an orange alien, similar to the ones you always see on TV. The background within the portal was very different than that of my bedroom. And, the alien seemed to be occupied at a computer or control panel. My eyes opened wider, yet I remained motionless- I could hardly believe what I was seeing. The alien seemed to become uneasy or alarmed by something, still looking down at its instruments. Then, it looked up, and our eyes locked. It was like the feeling of walking through the woods and meeting with a wild animal. The both of you freeze, eyes locked, neither one of you quite knowing what to do, or how to react. And, then, the air filter kicked on in my fish tank behind me, which made noise whenever it came on. It startled me, and I looked behind me. Then, when I looked back, the rift was closed, and the alien was gone. I've never seen it again, except for in a picture I found on the internet, which someone claimed to have accidentally caught on film:



Flash forward 20 years. I am now married with children. Last night (Sunday night, May 27, 2007) I was outside on my back porch smoking a cigarette when I saw a UFO streaking across the sky. I don't believe it was a meteor, because I've seen lots of "falling stars", and this was nothing like that. Not the first time I've seen strange light movements in the sky. But, last night was different. It was about 2:25 AM when I saw a ship (yes, a ship) streaking across the sky heading north at an incredible speed, much faster than any jet or plane I've ever seen. It looked like it was going "warp speed", from Star Trek. With the same blurring warp speed effects behind it. The color was neon/dodger blue. When I saw it, I ran out into the yard to see where it was going, but it had already passed. I don't really know whether it was in our atmosphere, or out in space, but it was definitely amazing to see. Did anyone else in my area happen to see something like this last night?

They say that June and July is the time of year when the most UFO sightings occur. I guess it's about that time!
