It doesn't matter what you think of Trapper -
READ THAT POST with all it's implications!
My husband NOW consumes iodine...but he was Led into a long period of time "not" to, until after he had his yearly drug test for his career.
Verrrrry interesting how God works. I kept pushing husband to take it, I am now so VERY glad I didn't "spike" his food or drink.
We'd be in a REAL BIND if he lost his job.
Please read Trapper's post; if you are "spiking" someone's food or drink...you'd better be finding out IF and WHEN their yearly drug test is!!!Advertisement

the heck of this is that you test clean(because you are) but they assume youre dirty because of an inordinate amount of Iodine in the urine(thinking you spiked it). it should be challenged by someone. maybe even make a lot of money in court.- Re: If SNEAKING iodine into a loved ... archus

This is a reply to # 874,094I have a question. How long one has to be off of Iodine before it is detected in your urine test or blood test. I am probably going to change jobs and going to a large company and they will definitely ask me for these tests. I am currently consuming very low amount of 6 drops a day. so will it show up? If I do not take for week will that be ok for them not to detect it. I just don't want anyone to ask me questions about it.
It is shame if one does not get the job if a company thinks you are on drugs... well what they do not know is that we are on better drugs then so many of their other employees. Who know what they could be taking.

This is a reply to # 874,507My hubby was OFF the Iodine for TWO MONTHS!
I was not happy that he just up and quit like that...but of course after reading Trapper's post I was glad that he WAS off!
I don't know if he HAD to be off that LONG, but I looked back on one of my posts to see when we upped our drops to 4 twice a day, and it was the week of March 5th. So, he was off from March 7, and I'm pretty sure his drug test was the week of May 7th!
So, he was off of Iodine for two whole months! yikes!
