Hi,
i have a small bump with pus on the gum below one of my molars. it doesn't appear if i brush everytime after i eat. if i don't brush after i eat for 2-3 days, it starts to appear. it doesn't pain. i had a filling(i don't know if it's mercury or silver.the one that looks black) done on that tooth 5 years back and had no problem till now.this pus started appearing 2-3 weeks back. what are these and is there any home remedy for this?- Re: Pus on gums???? MoreThis is a reply to # 872,444Well If I had that I would garlge with half peroxide half water after each meal and I would also do some oilpulling with Virgin Coconut oil it's really good and has antibactiral properties so that may help. Go over to the oilpulling forum.

can i use hydrogen peroxide, if i have couple of mercury or silver fillings(the one that looks black). how does hydrogen peroxide react with these metals?
when you say hydrogen peroxide, is this the same as you get in walmart, target stores in drugs section(normally comes in brown plastic bottles). i am asking this because till now i thought hydrogen peroxide is a cleaning agent used to clean carpet and other household stuff!!! correct me if i am wrong.- Re: Pus on gums???? #80553

This is a reply to # 878,908It sounds like you have a fistula. these are cause by an infected pulp ( nerves and blood vessels that supply the tooth) when an infection occurs and has no where to go it will escape out the root of the tooth and appear/drain via the gums. Go to your dentist and get it checked before you loose your tooth!
