Why do I still have lots of mucous/phlegm and what can I do about it?
My diet is fairly clean. I eat minimal dairy (a bit of cheese here and there and some kefir every so often). I eat fruit for breakfast, lunch is usually my biggest meal, and supper is usually vegetables and a carb of some sort.
Even after following a hypo-allergenic diet for more than one month and a cleanse at the same time nothing really seemed to change.
I have also done two - three day homemade juice fasts with no change.
Any insight is appreciated.
One other question: what is a great whole food (non-dairy) source of friendly bacteria for the gut?
Cheers!
