Guys, I have two attacks (not pain, just vomit) more than 2 years ago, in between couple months. I did ultrasound at that time, it showed a stone (1.5cm) in the neck. Now 2 years has passed, I did ultrasound again, it's still there, about the same size, still in the neck. My gallbladder is 9cm by 4.5cm, the report says distended. I feel no symptom at all, no pain, no vomit. I eat very healthy these days.
I am not sure if I need to go to surgery... Kind of worried of the stone stuck in the neck. From the ultrasound image it seems that it's a complete block of the opening. But I should feel pain if complete blocks, unless my gallbladder has distended to such a degree that it don't contract anymore?
Any suggestions? Thanks!
Oh, I also tried the stone dissolution drug Ursofalk for 3 months without any effect (from ultrasound)

This is a reply to # 861,483My 2.5 cm stone was in the neck of the gallbladder. This resulted in inflammation and thickening of the wall from 3mm to 42 mm. My symptoms were off and on upper backpain, and pain at the right lower front (never in gallbladder area).
I started liverflushing in feb'03 and after about 10-12 months I had another ultrasound. The infammation was gone and the wall thickness back to normal and the stone was now freefloating.
In '04 and '05 had another ultrasound the stone was still free floating and still the same size. '06 I skipped and next month I am planning to ask for another US, I am basically symptom free.
I do maintenance flushes every few months so I won't create new stones.
I changed my lifestyle with better eating habits in the last 4 years.
