I bought some organic soil to replant household plants. When I opened the bag it reaked of mold.
Is there anyway that I can get rid of it? (the mold) I'd hate to chuck 5 bucks.

MoreThis is a reply to # 85,926I would definitely seal it up and throw it out and the sooner the better. Five bucks is nothing compared to what your health could suffer from mold.

This is a reply to # 85,928just 5 bucks but, its 5 bucks! lol! you could try freezing it or heating it in the oven at say oh 350, cool and serve!

This is a reply to # 85,929I did think of baking it, but still....who wants it around any how ? Mold is a serious thing...best to just get rid of it and be done.

It's on the back porch near the grill, maybe I'll bbq it. ;)

This is a reply to # 85,931Why don't you just return it to where you bought it and show them what they are selling. Maybe they dont realize and you may save someone else lots of trouble.
