I would recommend Young Living's Frankincense. Frankincense is an essential oil that is very hard to find a pure, unadultrated and therapeutic-grade. You will find many who claim to have pure frankincense, but they can not produce information on constituents and the percentages of them in their frankincense. They can not show the source where the frankincense originated or the distilling processes used. There is a lot of very 'creative marketing' in the business of essential oils. It is very disheartening. I guess the same is true in the natural and organic foods, whole food supplement businesses.
For this reason, I have chosen to only use essential oils from YL. I trust the quality and purity. Here is a link to my post concerning buying YL essential oils:

As for YL's Frankincense oil.. I believe it is the ONLY one to buy/use. I have first-hand experience of the power of this oil. I have a family member who used YL frankincense (and other YL essential oils) to heal a radiation burn. He had radiation therapy for a vocal chord cancer--a decision he regrets!! The last day he had radiation therapy he was told it would take 10-14 days for the radiation to no longer be active in his body and then another 3 weeks (minimum) before he would START to heal. His throat had a deep radiation burn inside and out. He could not swallow even water. The doctor wanted him hospitalized so he could have a feeding tube and IV's. He choose to turn to essential oils instead.
To heal the inside of his throat, he used 1 tablespoon of coconut oil with around 100 drops of various essential oils mixed into it (4 times/day) Frankencense was one of the main essential oils in this mixture. He would slowly sip this and let it coat his burnt throat. He would also apply essential oils to the outside of his throat several times a day. After 2-3 days his throat was healed enough that he could swallow liquids and eat soft foods. After 10 days (remember the radiation was suppose to still be active and it would be weeks yet before he was suppose to start healing) not only was the inside of his throat normal, but the outside was healed and had smooth, healthy skin. NO scarring, NO tenderness.. just healthy skin. Just to give you some idea of the burn. His throat looked like someone had taken a welding torch to his neck.
[Frankincense is an example of a commonly alulterated oil. A great deal of time--12 hours or more-- is required to properly steam-distill this essential oil from the resin, making the oil very expensive. Frankincense oil that sells for $25 per ounce or less is cheaply distilled with gum resins, alcohol, or other solvents, leaving the essential oil laden with harmful chemicals. Sadly, when these cut, synthetic,and adultrated oils cause rashes, burns, or other irritations, people wonder why they do not get the benefit they expected and conclude that essential oils do not have much value.]
OK, enough about frankincense. You will need to look at the 'whole picture' in order to know which essential oils will be most beneficial. An essential oil blend that has proved very powerful on scars from injury--not bone grafting--is called "Australian Blue". This blend is from YL and has Blue Cyress, Ylang Ylang, Cedarwood, Blue Tansy and White Fir. I did a post on this forum giving more detail about this oil blend. For scarring, you could add the essential oil blend to unrefined organic coconut oil and then massage into the area. [I know people also take this oil blend internally in coconut or olive oil or in a capsule.] Other possible essential oils to consider are;
