Ha-ha~~Mr. Happy will be just fine. Certainly
if I am detoxing, the
Epsom Salt will draw out
toxins but also pain. The links should provide
ample info there. My anecdotal offering is that
during cleansing, I do a footbath or tub bath
every day. Post cleansing, I do an epsom or two
a week unless I have been working so hard my
muscles are aching and then I have tossed in as
much as a pound at a time. Usually a cup or two
is fine.
It is recommended that you only soak in an
epsom bath and only air dry. I shower for a
clean up but my
Epsom Salts are only for soaking.
You can also add some other things for a real
kick butt detox bath. Apple Cider vinegar, a pint,
and I add a couple of tablespoons of ground ginger
for a real detox crisis. You may need help out
of the tub after soaking in that tub and it is
helpful to have water nearby to sip.
I also like to add a few drops of essential oil
to a tub to relax. My favs are lavender or geranium.
I add Oil of Oregano sometimes but great care is
needed not to get it in your eyes.
Googling detox baths should bring up many other
others as you can even steep herbal teas and add
to your foot or body bath.
Additionally, body brushing prior to bathing or
showering is really beneficial.
Here is a link to a fine ebook on the subject~~
