a friend has an old boxer that he dearly loves. the animal was about to succumb to this tainted dog food(he now gets it that cooking at home goes for animals as well). when he took sam(the dog) to the vet, the supplement he got had Iodine in it. so they increased the amount of Iodine the dog was getting by supplementing lugols. the dog also got a couple of shots of Colloidal Silver put in his water.
this 12 year old boxer, which is unheard of for boxers anyway, went from being at deaths door to back better than he was before he got sick.
i have never seen CS to fail in helping a sick animal yet. now i am adding Iodine to my vet bag.

MoreThis is a reply to # 852,436I just started this yesterday, too. My springer/pointer gets a drop in her water dish. She has some odd skin issues that clear up somewhat with fish oil. I'm hoping the Iodine and fish oil will help.
I have also had her on the biofeedback machine. The single session didn't do much for her skin, but I did see a definite change in her attitude -- she was much happier afterward. - Re: dog healing with iodine and CS trapper/kcmo

for some reason, animals seem to respond exceptionally well to silver, not only as a treatment for illness but also as a tonic - it turns back the clock for them, at least for a while. it has been a long time since i gave my cats any and they have wound down considerably.- Re: dog healing with iodine and CS #67299

This is a reply to # 852,994CS really kicked my candida in the can. i used it heavily for about a year. it helped me heal up a lot internally and externally. i know that is kinda vague, but i never had a real diagnosis for what was wrong with me. the symptoms were a mishmash of autoimmune and infectious illness, most of them chronic and severe.
CS made me sleep a lot.

This is a reply to # 852,431Wow thats great. Right now our Bichon is getting a teaspoon of CS each day. When he went to the groomers his ears got nipped and then with scratching it started getting infected. So a teaspoon a day and then in a spray bottle I mixed CS, aloe, vitamin E and some antibacterial ointment. After a couple days his ears are already looking better.

This is a reply to # 853,226My Lab/Dingo is 13 years old and starting to really show her age. She sleeps most of the time and is starting to have difficulties with the stairs. She has allergies and something in our grass causes her feet to itch terribly.
Yesterday I started adding ACV to her water. I don't have any CS but I am taking Lugols and might try adding a drop of that to her water as well. I do add VCO to her food and find that helps her alot.- Re: dog healing with iodine and CS Phoebe_adq

This is a reply to # 856,870With our Husky, she needed essential fatty acids (fish oil) to help get rid of the stiffness in her joints.
Our springer/pointer seems to have allergies. These improved with fish oil and Lugol's in her water. She's not 100% yet, but it's only been a week, so time will tell. She has the choice of pure water and water w/Lugol's. Sometimes she chooses the pure water. I don't think she touched the Lugol's water yesterday, but the first two days she drank it down immediately, and she drank some today.
The patches on her elbows are getting smaller. Now to find a way to make her less attractive to the ticks without exposing the whole family to chemicals......

I wasn't very scientific with the fish oil. The husky was large, over 75 lbs., and I gave her 2 1000mg capsules a day (the dosage recommendation for a human). She didn't like the capsules, so I'd have to open them and squeeze it on her food.
Our springer/pointer likes them so much, I just give her the capsules. I let her sniff the first set, and she got very excited and snatched them out of my hand. She's a smaller dog, and I've been giving her 2 of the 1000mg capsules, though not consistently. The more consistent I am, the better her coat looks.

This is a reply to # 852,431You would not believe the difference in my dog... every other water dish a few ounces of CS or a drop of iodine. I also changed his food and wormed him with humaworm pet wormer.
You would swear we rolled the clock back three years... that is a lot for a 13 year old dog.

I purchased the Iodoral, for myself, and am wondering if I can give that to my Dog for her mammary tumor and lung tumors?
Is it possible to just dissolve the Iodoral tablet in her water?
I am ordering the Lugols, but I wanted to start her on Iodine as soon as possible!
Since we are going into the weekend she probably won't have the product until late next week and she was only given 3 months to live so I want to start ASAP.
How many milligrams of Iodine should I give to a 10lb dog?
