I've been fighting a cold and taking a lot of silver. I bought a silvergen several months ago and have been really happy with it, but today I discovered a feature that I didn't know would be so valuable.

By mistake I had bought a bottle of spring water instead of distilled. I set up my silvergen to make a new batch, and the motor just wouldn't run. I got nervous because I really am using a lot and if it were broken that would have been pretty tough for me. After perusing the directions for some clue about why it wasn't making silver, I checked my water bottle and saw it was spring water!

Wow, I'm really psyched because if I had gone ahead and made this batch of silver with the spring water, it would have been really impure and toxic. The Silvergen has a feature that tests the water before beginning, and if there are too many particles in the water, it doesn't make the silver! I got another bottle of distilled water, and it worked perfectly. I love this safety device!

I'm just grateful that I didn't down a big bottle of tainted silver!
