The procedure sounds very much like a typical mainstream approach of treating a symptom (the pre-cancerous dysplasia cells on the surface of the cervix) without addressing the underlying causes. That is the typical of mainstream medicine's appraoch to everything from warts to cancer: cut it out, burn it out (freeze it off), nuke it, poison it - but only attack the symptom and ignore the ubnderlying health disorders that cause it.
Have you considered a good healthy program such as ones used to beat and avoid cancer? By that I mean, detox/cleansing, change to a
healthy Diet of mostly raw fruits and vegetables, alkaline pH, anti-oxidants and supplements for cellular oxygen, vital nutrients such as iodine, potassium and Vitamin D, and one or more potent immune-boosting and cancer-fighting natural supplements?
Regardless of whether you go through with the procedure, such a program should help you avoid any recurrences. Many here might opt to forego the procedure, at least for now, and try the alternative approach entirely.
It's easy to advise others (actually it is kind of scary), but if I were in your shoes, that is what I would do.
Live long, live healthy, live happy!
