okay so a week and a half ago I figured I'd try the ACV on a mole that was about 1 1/2 the size of an eraser on the end of a pencil. Oblong, and near my hairline by my ear so I had some fine hairs coming out of it. I don't remember what it looked like as a child but I noticed it bubbled a little bit, the brown mole being an inconsistent level and some smaller nude bubbles forming to the side of the mole.
Now, I liked my mole in pictures, but looking at it up close it didn't look so pretty. Rarely I'd sometimes get a zit forming either right on the edge of the mole or even inside the mole (once.)
so I took a cotton square and put ACV on it, and taped it to my face. I wore it for a few hours, took it off and noticed an inky type dot on the cotton. Repeated and wore it all night. It did sting a bit initially but then didn't later on.
Next morning I put the pad on again since I was just bumming around the house. Same thing with the inkiness but more so (I'd torn the one on the previous night off halfway through in a sleep-induced temper tantrum aimed at tape on my face.) I did it again the next night and then was peeling off the mole the morning of the third day.
it bleed like crazy and scabbed over. Now-- by this time, I was like, okay-- I'm going to give ACV a break because by now my skin AROUND the mole was reacting to the caustic nature of the ACV and turning brown, like a rug burn. If I did this over I would maybe dip a Q-tip in ACV and tape THAT to my face since it's smaller than the cotton pad, even when I cut it small.
The scab peeled off a few times, the rug burn marks peeled off also, and now I have a pink scar that looks like I went after a zit a few times. I also noticed there's a slight textured bump where the mole was, though it's smaller and also not as tall than my mole. Now-- if it turns brown again, I'm okay with the size and the texture though there's still fine hairs growing out of this spot which is kind of annoying.
If it doesn't and it just stays pink than I'm going to ACV it again and get the textured bump all the way down so that maybe then the skin can heal all the way.
All in all I was very surprised and pleased with the biological experiment with ACV.
