AC all the way. will produce the smallest nano partcles out there. DC is inferior. AC is the way to go. I personally have one. 4hrs produces the best tasting and clear solution I have ever had. the AC just etches the finest particles off, the longer the better. Its very well make UL approved. heavy duty will last a lifetime. this was at 10PPM my magic number is alway 7PPM for daily maint.
