The person I am getting advice from RE my mercury detox has been researching mercury health issues and helping people for 19 years. He has talked to all the dentists working on the detox and healthy removal of mercury fillings.
Before about a year and a half ago, he had a protocol that cost about $2000 to implement. Then someone brought him Waiora's zeolite. He has found that one bottle of NCD removes about 7
ounces of mercury. (He has his own system of testing). Now his protocol is like about $200 to implement! Much cheaper and more effective than the assortment of natural supplements that he recommended before.
The Waiora zeolite product is different in that the cages /molecules are 'cleaned out', making them safer (who wants zeolite that has already picked up toxins?) and more effective (more room in the cage to pick up more nasties).
The researcher told us that zeolites will pick up the mercury that is blocking an oxygen receptor on the red blood cells and as the 'cleaned' red blood cells circulate, the mercury will be attracted to the now empty receptor. Then the next zeolite to come along will get the merc off; hence the recommendation to take it 4x per day so it can keep doing this.
This also explains how it gets mercury out of the brain; it doesn't... it cleans off the red blood cells, they go to brain, and the merc up there is attracted to the oxygen receptors on the red blood cells, the red blood cells head south and the zeolites pick up the mercury.
It seems Waiora may not understand this red blood cell thing. Some people who start on NCD don't notice much results and this can be because each red blood cell has 4 oxygen receptors and carbon monoxide is also attracted to these. So although NCD might be picking up the mercury, I guess it doesn't get the CO; you have to take something else to kick that off.
The guy we sees recommends OxyMoxy for that. (www.oxymoxy.com) He had us take 2 bottles over 3 days, take a swig every few hours. WOW was that cool, we could breathe easier (we both had shortness of breath before coming to him and he said this was because nearly 3/4 of our oxygen receptors were blocked with mercury or CO. )
So what happens, in kicking off the CO, the merc will take up those sites the
CO was blocking, but the zeolites are now going to work to pick up the mercury.
And zeolites exchange until they have the heavy metal nasties and have become neutral before being eliminated, so they are not taking out the calcium, etc, that chelation therapy also takes out of your body. After what I have learned and experienced with NCD, I wouldn't touch chelation therapy to remove my heavy metals (merc and all the others).
Another interesting thing is that to use Chorella effectively to detox, one must have a transit time (mouth to toilet) of 14 hours or less. Not many people have this, hence if you don't, the heavy metals will likely redeposit in your body. With NCD, it will work with up to 20 hours and you really shouldn't take it if beyond 22 hours...get those bowels MOVING!
You do need to drink LOTS of water with NCD. It does not create a detox effect like you might experience with bowel cleansing; it is more subtle.
