Dr.
oz is the main man on the Oprah Show that talks about diet and nutrition. He had a simple thought that is not reflected in your top 10 list. He says that it is most important to eat breakfast and he talks about Leptin and Ghrelin. On top of that he adds that it is best to eat the same thing every morning because all the choices of breakfast can lead to eating the wrong thing or too much. He says it is not a bad idea to eat around the same foods for lunch for the same reason.
To me this translated into eating oatmeal for most all breakfast and to eat breakfast every day. Oatmeal is great for fiber.
