Just wanted to report in with my post -
Master-Cleanse diet. I went off a 21-day
Master-Cleanse on January 20, and since then I've been eating 100% vegan (I had been vegetarian for 20 some years). One huge difference is that I pack a lunch with a lot of snacks EVERY day for work. In the past, it was hit or miss - I would pack a lunch maybe once a week, and the rest of the time eat out. There are very few 100% vegan options near me, so packing a lunch/snacks is pretty much my only choice.
I usually pack a huge salad and lots of fruit, along with one "treat" - something like a vegan brownie. I always eat the salad and all the fruit BEFORE I eat the "treat." It is much healthier and much cheaper to eat this way, and really doesn't require that much preparation (especially compared to making up a day's lemonade drink for 21 days straight!)
The other thing that has really helped is a joined an organic produce delivery service where I get a big box of organic fruits and veggies once a week. It is a nice variety and I like having the stuff delivered.
