Colloidal Silver has never worked all that well for me. I think I'm beginning to find out why. You folks may have already discussed this information, but this morning I'm unable to access previous pages of this discussion thread.
I found
Colloidal Silver a number of years back. I have tried all kinds. Mostly they constipate me to a severe degree.
What has become obvious in recent months is the sheer amount of bad information available on the Internet about
Colloidal Silver . Much of it is produced by well meaning persons, but it is still bad information.
I was confused as well until I ran into the MesoSilver site. They have the most accurate, informative, and complete site I know of on the web that specifically discusses colloidal suspenions. (see the link below).
This is for your information. I have no affiliation with the site, nor have I a financial interest in their business.
This message may challange or seem to threaten some people's notion of colloidal silver. I am not the threatening type.
So, why bring it up? First, to make access to the information more generally available. Second, to see if anyone's heard anything bad about the product. And third, I was so glad to finally get accurate information that I supposed others would be grateful for the opportunity.
Here's the short story.
Visit the web site if you want more complete information, including labratory reports that classify a variety of "colloidal" products.
Most "colloidal" silver on the market is in fact ionic silver, not colloidal. There's a huge difference between the two types.
If your silver water is colorless like water then it is in fact an ionic silver solution, not a colloidal suspension.
If you make your silver water with batteries then you're making ionic silver, not colloidal silver.
Why should anyone care? Ionic silver is a silver atom that is missing an electron. That's what makes silver soluable in water. This silver ion goes to your stomach and combines with the chloride ion to form silver chloride, an insoluable silver salt. The word "insoluable" should mean something.
Now, if you want to take ionic silver or silver chloride then that's your decision, but I did in fact resent spending all that money on silver water that was advertised to be colloidal when in fact wasn't.
Do I want more government regulation? Heaven forbid. But I do appreciate accurate information.
So, why should I pay for a 20PPM colloidal silver suspension when it is really an ionic silver solution that only delivers 1-2PPM? Is such a thing a fruad? No, I don't think so, but it isn't what I wanted or thought I was getting.
At any rate, do whay you want...
