Is anybody familiar with this.I stumbled across a website a while back & it sounds good
Is it a gimmick? Ebay has a ton of that stuff from $1 to $70.Heres the listing on Ebay for it.
There are many sites trying to suck people in with the computer TV thing and grabbing what money they can get out of you for it!
The catch is, they are all free channels of product promoting commercial channels selling commercial products, such as Ron Popeil selling his kitchen products and Orick selling his Orick Vacuum cleaners, and don't forget that guy selling Kaboom cleaning products on another show.
Its great if you enjoy watching those types of programs. You can help sponsor and keep those free program channels running by the products you buy.
Hi, well actually they're not all those type of channels.
Some have local stations from around the US. I've watched some from
other countries -like in Europe, Japan, etc.
Some are live, some aren't.
Just remember, anything that sounds too good to be true probably is. That said, it is quite easy to watch TV on your pc with the right equipment. Free cable and free satellite TV don't exist (unless you know a guy who knows a guy... ect). You can buy a video card for you PC, called a TV tuner card. You then hook your cable or satellite line into the video card. ATI makes a card called the "All in Wonder" that has pretty much every option you could want your PCs graphics card to do.
Hope this has helped!
I've been on Curezone for years and never noticed the computer forums. I hope I can contribute a few helpful things.
