So I'm on day 8 of my second cleanse. I've had a killer headache every day. At first I was thinking detox, but then I noticed it worsened when I got to the bottom of my lemonade where the huge pile of cayenne was, and also toward the end of the day. It felt like my
Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) headaches that I am all too familiar with. So I read the label on my jar, and lo and behold; "2% silicon dioxide added to prevent caking". This didn't happen on my last cleanse, and I used a different brand of cayenne. But I would suppose most producers use something to prevent caking because I've never had my cayenne pepper cake up on me.
So to test my hypothesis I omitted the pepper from this morning's batch and am feeling soooo much better. I'm wondering if anyone has any info on how people react to this? I imagine it wouldn't be problematic normally but with the large amounts I'm using on this cleanse...or I could be totally off about this. I will take a trip to Whole Foods tonight and get some organic stuff that I also don't have to worry about being irradiated.
