Hi, I would appreciate people's opinions on this. I am not normally a "smoker", but I have smoked a cigarette on the odd occassion once in a while.
However, on my birthday, I completely overdid it and got the urge to buy myself a packet of cigarettes and smoked the lot in one day. I do enjoy a smoke when I have one, but this day I just went all out. Wished I had never done it, but it's done. Since that time, the symptoms I experienced have been dreadful. I started to feel poorly the following day (not surpising), however, things didn't stop there. I developed very painful abdominal cramps, nausea, muscle tics all over my body, some tremor, crying/salivating spells, anxiety/depression, metal taste, metal smell on my body. Now this has gone on now for over 2 months and I am bewildered by it all.
I wonder if anybody could tell me if this is even possible? I like to hear others feelings, or even if someone's had a similar experience. I feel totally stunned that just ONE day of smoking could still be causing me these symptoms. It is so bad, I don't know what to do.
Right now I am trying to really get into the antioxidants, I'm avoiding cheating on my diet and keeping strict with no sugar, gluten, wheat, yeast etc. Downing vitamin C, vitamin E, selenium, liver detox capsules, zinc, B complex etc and just hoping right now if I can pull myself out of it. My candida situation has worsened TEN FOLD, I now have it so bad I cannot seem to improve it as I had been before.
So again, I know what I did was foolish, but any feelings/comments on this would be appreciated. I really am just blown away how this is even possible and if it is, how on earth would it go on for over two months? I mean honestly.
