excuse the ignorance, its my first time to live alone without parents so i have some basic questions, so to speak


i have some ridiculous floor stains on my carpet from my dogs muddy paws. not to mention his being sick a few times during the winter.
i used a cleaer from melaleuca but it really didnt do the job as i wanted, so i could use a new recommendation for carpet cleaner.
also, whats the ebst way to clean a fabric couch? its velour...|(yes, from the 70s|) i'm thinking steam clean...does that sound right?

also, when i scramble eggs i obviously need a good oil to coat on my stainless steel pot...and i was wondering what the best one would be. my parents used to use pam and i know thats not good. also i want to be sure its an oil that doesn't go bad with heat used for that
