how to recover from statin/lipitor?

My dad took lipitor for 2 years and is in big time pain and weakness. Can anyone help with what might speed recovery after getting off of it? His legs have slightly strengthened just by getting off of the stuff, but he's in pain and can barely hold his head up! Thanks- Re: how to recover from statin/lipit... Ev
