i have been struggling with nail fungus for some 20 years and so far have only managed to keep it at bay but no success story despite of much research and having tried so many different things except allopathic medicine, which at my present desperation wouldn’t mind trying if only i would be sure they'd bring a real cure as a pay off to their negative side effects.
here are the things i have tried at various times without success: hydrogen peroxide, clorox, boric acid, apple cider visegar, grapefruit extract, taking all sweet foods out of my diet except a bit of daily fruit. keeping my fingers and toes as dry as possible, including drying them with a hair dryer after washing, sunning the affected areas, filing the nails almost down to the nail bed, and for the last year been putting on a mixture of T tree, oregao, rosemary, clove and eucayptus oils 2times/day and with the tip of a spatula i push the oils under the cuticles.
do the fungi mutate to the remedies used against them? do they dislike oxygen or do they thrive by it?
recenlty been developing an itch in my finger and toes, also extending a bit to the top surface of my feet. this becomes active expecially with heat, such as few hours after going to bed when my feet get warm, wearing socks or shoes, or if i be near a source of heat including the hair dryer i use. is this related to the fungus? would the fongus escaping from the nails into the skin?
my feet easily exude a smelly sweat even with sandals. i try not wear shoes most of the times.
i have not taken any remedies orally. contemplating oregano oil/or olive leaf extract. would any of these have neg side effects if used for a few months? what would be the best dosage?
here are things I still would like to know about and try: ultra violet, other oxygen therapies long fasting, laser, others? i welcome to learn about your experiences with these and any new suggestions and remedies including their synergystic combinations.
many thanks, mobiance
