Actually, IMO the square wave current should not cause a problem with the metal in the dentin. The Sine wave and microwave eg Cell Phone is the culprit.
A person could zap everywhere on their body, even the head, neck, ears, etc without affecting the teeth that much.
I hope you plan to get that metal out of your one tooth. Even that small amount can be very detrimental.
