Why does the pickling lime react with plastic? Ive kept it in plastic containers the first container got a hole from the lime-like it burnt through it and it was a thick hard plastic bottle. The next plastic bottle was a softer more pliable plastic and the lime is etching water mark lines -ie the top of the water creates a line around the plastic. So I guess I shouldnt store it in plastic.
