Hi everyone. I'm very new to this and I have so many questions! I have just gotten my first outbreak and am wondering where I contracted this from. My husband has had herpes since July, so it obvious I got it from him. But we have been together for over 2 years and his outbreak in July was his first. We have never had trust issues, and he says he did not have sexual contact with anyone else besides me while we have been together. Is it possible he got it from somewhere else? Has anyone else gotten herpes from somewhere other than sexual contact? I realize this is something we will live with, but I would feel much better knowing it could have came from somewhere else. Or is it possible he had it from a previous relationship but never had a breakout? Please send information...
