I am not parazapper but I have the unit:

Just put the foot pad banana plug into the unit then plug in the hand held plug into the open end of the "foot pad banana plug"...

>- pad do NOT look useable at the same time as the rods

The pads are pluged into the red connector first, the red wire from the copper pipe plugs into the pad connector which is stackable.
