The metal underneath the crowns is hard to define. It is not
Amalgam and looks to be some sort of metal that attached the crown to the tooth. I know that seems odd but there you have it. I did speak to the dentist a few years ago and he stated that he would have pulled the
Amalgam out to put the crown on. He thought the metal attaching the crown to the tooth was perhaps nickel.
The holistic dentist that replaced all my
Amalgams did a biocompatability test.
In any event....my major question is still this. Do you have any faith in Vega testing for teeth. The naturopath used a device that tested the actual teeth by probing them with a meter and getting readings of the tooths charge. The charges on the mercury filled teeth dropped once they were replaced with composite....but not the two crowns.
He suggested I replace these crowns as the reading was higher than even the old mercury
teeth.....I would rather not spend the money on this replacement if this type of testing is suspect.
What do you think
