Jesus said pure religion is to visit orphans and widows. The Pharisee had religion with out mercy and justice so their religion was not pure or true religion I would say. Denominations are not scriptual or condone by Jesus or his disciples. Jesus and his disciples taught the people should be of one mind in one accord or simply in agreement in their thoughts and actions. Denomination is almost another word for division which is exactly the opposite of what Jesus taught or his disciples. Their is no good religion except pure religion to visit orphans and widows. Anything short of this is nothing but destructive in my opinion.
