I had not even heard of "The Secret" until just a few days ago. I read about it
on curezone....started getting emails from friends suggesting that we watch it.
Read raves that came in with those emails when friends sent 'links' along with the
emails...well my goodness...even "I" sent emails asking people to watch it. I was
on cloud NINE...waiting for this program. Larry King himself was promoting it...saying it was going to be life changing and even change the world. ???
But within 15 minutes into it...I was looking at the clock and asking my husband...
'when are they going to SAY something?" And by 30 minutes into it...we were searching to see if there was anything ELSE on. :-)

It took them 60 minutes to say....in about 58 different ways...that life is what
you make of it...always has been...always will be. Well, DUH!!!!! Didn't we all
already KNOW that?

Is it really POSSIBLE that a man (one of the men who sat on the panel)could be
President of 17 companies..as he said HE was...and not already KNOW that?

We shouldn't need a BOOK or tv special to tell us...
1. If we play in the gutter...we're going to get dirty!
2. If we think negative thoughts...we're going to be sad!
3. If we sit around looking for aches and pains...we're going to find them!
4. If we hate everything and everybody...we have a rocky road ahead.
OR
1. If we go about doing good deeds for others...we're going to be blessed!
2. If we think positive thoughts...we're going to be happier!
3. If we have a health problem...and we'll do what we need to do..we can heal it!
4. If we will just give love and show love to all...we're going to get it back!

It's like that quote that's everywhere describing optimist and pessimist.
"An optimist gets up and goes to the window and says, "Good morning, Lord!" :-)
A pessimist gets up and goes to the window and says, "Good Lord, it's MORNING!" :-/

It's as simple as ABC...If you have a dream or a goal...or even a chore you need to do...the only way to get it DONE...is to get up off your keister..and put one foot
in front of the other one and JUST DO IT!

There was a movie a few years ago called "Pay It Forward". My goodness...what a movie! When the movie was over...I said to my husband..."THAT movie is going to
change the world!" :-)
It started out with a 7th grade teacher giving his class an assignment...and it said
that he had given this same assignment for years. He asked the class to come up
with a way THEY thought they could change the world.
When the deadline came...and the kids came in...they all had goofey, 'kid like' ideas...like free ice cream to all...or something goofey like that. But this one
little boy got up and said he needed to go to the chalk board to explain his solution. So he went to the chalk board and at the top...he drew one simple stick
person...and he said..."this is ME!" "And I'm going to help 3 people"...and he
drew 3 more stick people under him...and he said each one of THOSE three people
are going to do a random act of kindness for three more people....and he drew out
9 stick people....and on and on and on.
It was one of those WOW moments. And it did catch on to some extent...but not like
I had hoped. There is a Pay It Forward movement...you can do a search on the internet and find it.

Someone on curezone suggested a "Random Acts of Kindness" forum many months ago..and NO...it wasn't ME :-)but I DID think it was a wonderful idea. A few posted and said
they thought it was a great idea. But someone else posted and said it was just a way to 'show off'...."I" suspect they were not the loving ..giving kind and knew they wouldn't have anything to POST! :-) But anyway...it fell through. But if that poster is still around...I suggest you try to get it going again...a lot of people
don't do random acts of kindness...because they're just not used to it and don't
know what to do.

I was much more inthralled with the Dr oz special on Oprah yesterday...which I had
to record and watch at 10pm...it was WONDERFUL. Dr oz has a special on tonight
on Discovery Health at 9pm central (I think)...and it would be well worth your
time.

As for "The Secret"...that's not a secret that has just been discovered...many of
us have known it all our lives. And Praise God for that!!! :-)
