Last night I increased the amount of time that I steeped my tea. I typically steep it for 13 minutes and last night I let it go 14. I was up 6 times in the middle of the night going to the bathroom.
So, the moral of the story is *every second counts*! You need to find that happy medium for steeping your tea so that you don't get cramps, you aren't up all night going to the bathroom, and the tea is still effective.
Every time I do the
Master-Cleanse it always amazes me at the amount of gunk that comes out even though I'm not eating. I look at the people around me who eat the SAD diet and think how glad I am that I don't eat that way anymore. They all look sickly. Many have dark circles under their eyes or they have a bulge around their middle that wasn't there in their younger years. So instead of "I'd like to buy the world a Coke"..."I'd like to give the world an MC"! :) The problem is that people really freak when you tell them that you are fasting - especially if you tell them how long. But I've gotten several people to read Stan's book, and one or two are actually going to try it. I am making a difference one person at a time!! So if each of them can share their experience...um...we might run out of lemons! But of course there's always the mainstream media and the FDA who will find some way to scare folks into thinking that fasting is bad for you, so there will be those who try it once and never come back - fearful of what horrible things they might have done to their bodies by fasting one time. Oh, the dillema...Sorry I'm rambling, but most of you are the only ones I can talk to about fasting and not get looked at like I'm crazy person...maybe that's because you all can't see me! lol...
I'm feeling upbeat today and at the moment, almost giddy! :) I'm still extremely cold, and I believe that this is going to be what keeps me from doing a long cleanse. I keep thinking that 10 days may be about all I'll be able to take of this "chilled to the bone" feeling that I have for most of the day. I'm dressed for sub-zero temperatures (right down to my wool socks) and I walk around wrapped in a blanket all day, but I'm still freezing!
Happy lemonading everyone!
