I know exactly how you felt! I wrestled with the same battle in my mind..I felt disappointed and accomplished at the same time..My longest fast was 13 days. Today was my day 16. I started the day with lemonade, at lunch began sipping my fesh OJ, and just ate a bowl of delicious homemade organic veggie soup...I throw cabbage, kidney beans, corn, green beans, celery, tomoatos, garlic, basil, oregeno, cayenne, black beans, carrots, baby potatos, hulled barley, and more into a crock pot and let it slow cook overnight. I ate about 6 Tamari-sesame crackers....
I feel fine...it's been 17 days since my last meal...it's always weird to eat again. For some reason the OJ seemed to bother my stomach this time, or it could be the cayenne capsules I am still taking
The main thing is I quit smoking and have no desire to go back, I began exercising again, and plan on eating smaller portions of healthier food. That's really what I wanted. I knew I had to go off as I was only getting down 1
quart of the lemonade, and just couldn't stomach any more...I wasn't cleansing anymore, I was just water fasting.
I think you did great and should be proud of yourself. I wanted to make it until at least day 21, but my body just didn't agree with that plan.
I am going on a cruise at the end of Jan. and may due a 10dayer before I go...I hear you eat a lot on a cruise, cleanseing always makes me gravitate towards healthier choices.
thanks for writing...best wishes!
