I don't know but here's a word of warning about applying it to the eye area. It burns! Be careful you don't get it into your eye because it doesn't rinse out easily. Also, it will clog pores so if you're subject to breakouts, it's a really heavy oil for the face.

Just sayin - been there done that. I can't say whether it makes lashes longer. It burned my eyes too bad to try it more than twice. I should've quit after the first time but I thought I could be more careful... And the "zit in a wrinkle" look didn't work for me.
