how much epson salts did you take? you are not really meant to take it for a week before hand... just the day of and the morning afterwards. you probably got dehydrated even though it did dilate your bilary tubes. you must also remember to really hydrate your body beforehand due to the Epsom Salts .

My first flush wasn't very productive either. My 2nd and 3rd flushes were! So I think that I was very clogged up and it just took a lot to get it going. I think it's a good idea to take malic acid (or one of the other recommended herbs like gold coin grass) for a few days ahead of the flush to break things up.

I've been taking malic acid and magnesium citrate supplements for the past two weeks in anticipation of my next flush this weekend. I'm hoping to loosen it all up and get an even better flush. After my 3rd flush the pressure I was feeling in my rib cage area subsided for a few days, then returned, which probably means more stones and sludge have moved forward from the liver.
