Last night at around 2:30am, my 2 year old tells wakes up and tells me that his nose is not working. He is stuffed yp and miserable. I take him to the kitchen and see that I have a tiny bit of my maple rescue(has a dose of oregano oil for each spoonful) and I end up putting it on my finger and into the inside of his cheek. Kids do put up a fuss sometimes and this was the best I could do. He said, "Yum", so I was glad to get the rest in him easily---it does taste very good!
The morning is here and we are now reallly out of the rescue but I have the oregano oil! Yesterday my eldest son was not feeling well so he had made his own concoction. He took a piture of distilled water and added one drop of oregano oil, the juice of one lime, and a tablespoon of raw honey. This mixture made it easy to get the oregano oil down.
The left over water was kept in the fridge and is now the base for the morning smoothie for the boys!
I have the little ones in their underware only, and after smoothies on the lanai and in the sun, they will go in a hot bath with a drop of oregano oil in the water.
I am sure this cold will be broken up soon. Oregano is really easy to use and it gets results as long as the diet is clean.
It is really funny how different herbs come to me at different times as I need them and learn how to use them.
I am very thankfull for the wealth of information here and I learn everytime I read--even if I have read it before, sometimes things do not make sense to me until I have to aply the knowlege.
ps. Thanks a Bunch Zach, and I wish the same for you!!!!
