Hi Davvva,
I don't think I really ever had Sjogren's, or if I did then it just proves how little the doctors really know about auto-immune problems such as this. I was demonstrating many of the symptoms when I was diagnosed, but not all of them. The doctor was supposedly the top immunologist in the city I live in and he said to me you must go on steroid drugs for life, when I said no thanks he said he would see me in three months when I could barely stand...no joke! that's what he said! I thank God for the wisdom I had at that age to say no to him. When I asked him what the side effects for the drugs were, he counted them off on his fingers as he was telling them to me, and half of the side effects were actual symptoms of sjogrens anyway!!!! I can't believe the world has fallen for this kind of "health"!!!!
I think the idea of one cure that MH talks about is correct because even though I didn't follow the protocol he suggests (I didn't know about it then!), I did thoroughly clean my body and improve my life style and all the symptoms disappeared. If your friend is really into improving her health in a complete way, tell her to read lots on this site and educate herself so she can make the decision of whether or not she wants to improve her life this way.
One more thing! I don't know if this is a factor in the whole thing, but I never identified with the disease label Sjogren's Syndrome, and perhaps this too lessened it's hold on me, if it ever existed in the first place!
Peace
