About 40% of all Americans believe in past lives. By extrapolition, they would also have to believe in future lives.
Does anyone know of a way to transfer ones current belongings, and I mean physical belongings, to the next life time, the next life? In other words, is there a way for me to re-claim next life time what was mine this life-time?
Let me explain it so it's totally clear: Now, in this life, I have certain things I hold dear to my heart, let's say a piece of jewelry. I could give it to a friend (who'd have to be younger than me) with the provision that he turns it over to me when I "return" next lifetime in a new and different body. Then I die (in this,
my body now).
Then I take a new body, new lifetime. I seek out my friend, and tell him "Hi, here I am. I'd like my piece of jewelry back now."
There are obvious problems connected with this: Such as how would he know it's really me. Aside from me having the initial problem of having to remember that he did exist, who he was/is, and that he's holding something for me. Those "memories" would have to be part of what elsewhere was described as my mental body.
And that's what I meant with my question i.e. does something exist along those lines to solve this. And if not, what could be an attempt to address this.
Take care - Pat
