A woman is a person, not a factory!
This is a Bumper sticker rebuttal to the bumper sticker "a child not a choice". That child/choice statement is saying that a grown woman is not important, only a fetus is. Gee, why don't I just go shoot myself now, I'm an adult female, my life is useless - somewhere along the way from childhood to adulthood it apparently because worth less than dirt.
I've never had one. But I wouldn't set foot in South Dakota - are they waiting there with guns to rid the country of extraneous adult females?
if that fetus is a female, during what year does her life cease to matter to the point of death - age 5? 10? Ridiculous.

Hey, I'm pro-life but if you want to have an abortion a year or whatever, go ahead I wont stop you...even if I wanted to-which I dont-I couldnt possibly stop someone who is determined to do something that they want to do. I just wish the namecalling, the making fun of, the lies, the obvious dislike, the childishness, the distortion of facts, the NON-listening (or reading) of replies before a faulty answers, etc. would just stop...this is a SERIOUS subject which on one hand women's lives are at stake, baby's (some say blobs, fetuses, whatever) lives are at stake, abortion doctors lives are at stake, the country is divided in half about it and all I see is a blatent disrespect of each other due to not even TRYING to understand what the other is saying or why...

This is a reply to # 710,447I know. So one must muddle through and decide for oneself. From what I see, the only place causing a woman to lose a fetus shows up in the books of laws, it is accidental. But in other places, accidents carry the same penalties and intentional acts. Yet, accidentally causing the woman to lose a fetus does not carry the same penalty as causing a living, breathing person to die.
I've never seen any anti-abortionist - on this forum or others - explain away that verse in Exodus. - Re: A woman is a person, not a facto... adrift
