The point is having The Right to Choose.

Any couple or woman that CHOOSES to go ahead and have a baby, view what that baby will look like after it's born. Of course they will be excited seeing a sonogram.

Some women go ahead and choose NOT to have a baby and choose an Abortion. They should retain that Right to Choose. Those women usually don't get a sonogram.

So your point about a happy couple is a good scenario.
