What is required for an intelligent discussion in the matter is putting it in context. You think Sanger was the only racist at that time? And - sorry, but to open up another can of worms - do you think it was only the negro population she thought could benefit from birth control? Have you read anything, ANYTHING about what was going on in the country at that time? Especially in the cities? How do you think that influenced her stance? Do you think it was only liberals with such stances? [HINT: think good old church-going upstanding members of the community guys who ran around at night lynching negros; and be assured there weren't any liberals among them, dearie.]
