this is how mom's abortion affected me...
my older sisters were only like 3 and 1 when she got pregnant again! at the time my parents were also still struggling financially and mom's health wasn't so good so of course my poor mom was totally overwhelmed and had to choose abortion.
a coupla years later when my sisters were a bit older and my parents saved enough $ to get a house of their own, they decided to have another child and i was born :"> i remember the large tree in the garden and the pretty little swing set.
i had a wonderful childhood :)
the pro-lifers always argue that the abortion results in the destruction of a "baby", but there are also many cases like mine where the initial abortion paves the way for a more timely and happier birth of an ACTUAL baby and the coming of a being who woudln't have *been* otherwise.

This is a reply to # 709,372how do you figure? I've read it 3 times now. Her parents consumated a child, and then her mom aborted it. This child was her biological brother/sister. What am I missing?

This is a reply to # 709,375Ok so WHICH is it? Do I need to take remedial reading classes or basic classes for logic and reasoning. You've accused me of being deficient of both on the same post. I stand by my statement: this child was the biological brother/sister of the author of that post. Can you prove otherwise?
Maybe you need to take some classes as well. Common sense 101 would be a good place to start.

This is a reply to # 709,376The point of the message was this: If the parents had chosen not to have the abortion, then the poster WOULD HAVE NEVER EXISTED. Meaning then, that the aborted fetus/child/infant/whatever in question was not a potential sibling.

MoreThis is a reply to # 709,377Yes that was HER point. But what I read goes more like this: "My parents aborted my biological brother/sister so they could get to me." ....which simply prompted me to say how touching of a story that was.
And yes, that WAS a potential sibling. His/her DNA was all in place, as was that child's God-given spirit of life. Had this child been allowed to develop the author would have one more sibling alive today.

I would tend to think that she could be the soul that might have been born but was aborted and instead came back to be born to the people she chose to be born to.
