I was going through some old dieting stuff, and I found old notes (read: EARLY Jean Simmons stuff and some loose notes fromy my mom's old fitness and nutrition textbooks)
One of them said that a few tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in 8
ounces of warm water two or three times daily would help to shed lots of weight very quickly. The other explained that lecithin is a naturally ocurring lipid in our cells that helps to regulate fat cells; fat burns at 300+ degrees, and taking lecithin capsules would make it so that fat would burn at 98 or so degrees.
Anyone know if there's any truth to either of these statements? I know they sell lecithin supplements at GNC-type places, but I figured I'd ask here if anyone's heard of using it for weightloss and if it's safe to take while fasting.
And does the cider vinegar do anyhting other than smell bad?
