Hi! I just posted above about my day 1. I've done juice fasting, the
Master-Cleanse and water fasting. If you want to be active, most would recommend juice or the MC. Also, your metabolism will be running higher, making it easier to keep off the weight that you lose.
I typically lose about 10-15
pounds the first week (but I hold a LOT of water weight) and then drop to 4-5
pounds per week after that.
This series of fasting, I have been alternating between juice fasting and the MC. This keeps me from being bored. The
Master-Cleanse is easiest for me, but I get tired of the juice. Juice fasting is fantastic when it comes to variety, but is more time comsuming. For me, the balance is perfect when alternating. I finished an 18 day fast recently, and I did the
Master-Cleanse first, then switched (1 week each). This time I'm starting with the juice fasting for a week, then the MC, etc.
You need to jump in and see what you like. Do whatever feels right for you. Don't be afraid to change your type of fasting mid-stream!
