I am SO excited about the
inches lost! I still don't have that "empty" feeling I usually get while fasting, and I'm still holding fluids. But the
inches are dropping, and the clothing is fitting better.
I missed my tea last night (too tired), so I took it this morning. It hasn't worked yet (its about 1:30), so I made myself a SWF, and got about 2/3 of the
quart down. Nothing happening other than feeling kinda sick. Waiting for it to work before I get on the treadmill. Then I get to shower (again) and head to the local market for some produce to juice.
The family is having salad for lunch. A GIANT salad, with optional shredded cheese and sliced grilled chicken. So much healthier than they usually eat for Saturday's lunch. My fast is definitely improving their intake! I took the pulp from my carrot/sweet potato/spinach juice and put it in the Vitamix. Added tomatoes, more spinach, a whole onion and 2 cloves garlic. Pureed it with water, and poured it in a pot. Then I added brown rice and let it cook in the broth. It started to stick to the bottom, so I transfered it to the crock pot, on low. Then I added a whole bunch of "cole slaw mix" and some frozen corn. They wanted MEAT, so added some chopped pork from the freezer. That'll be dinner tonight. And they have NO idea how much good vegees they will be getting in the broth!
Well, hopefully I'll feel better soon (if the
SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) works). I'll update soon...
